Fed: Beazley says Democrats paying the price
CANBERRA, Feb 27 AAP - The Australian Democrats were now paying the price for their
support of the GST, Opposition leader Kim Beazley said today.
Mr Beazley said the Democrats were obviously worried as they had done the deal with
the government in the Senate which put the GST in place.
The real issue, however, remained the instability within the Liberal and National parties,
he said.
