Row: Ginn and Tomkins comfotably win heat
ATHENS, Aug 14 AAP - Australia's world champion men's pair won comfortably won their
heat on the first day of the Olympic regatta.
Half of the legendary Oarsome Foursome, James Tomkins and Drew Ginn, were ahead by
a length at the half way mark and kept the lead until the end.
They beat strong crews from Serbia and Great Britain.
Meanwhile, single sculler Craig Jones came second in his heat and will go through to
the repechage round.
