VIC: Building industry has nothing to fear, says Kennett
MELBOURNE, Feb 22 AAP - A crackdown on intimidation in Victoria's building industry should
not be feared by unions or employers, Premier Jeff Kennett said today.
"I don't think any of us have got anything to hide or reason to be concerned with any
investigations that are going to try and bring about a better industry and therefore maintain
employment levels," he told reporters.
The Federal Office of the Employment Advocate will crack down on small construction firms
being coerced into signing building agreements, and building workers …
